Bitcoin stays under pressure after weekend talks between the U.S. and Iran broke down, dampening demand for risky assets. President Trump said that a U.S. blockade on vessels entering or leaving Iranian ports would take effect at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. "Even if navigation for non-Iranian ports is technically allowed, the market hears one thing, higher friction in the world's key energy chokepoint," Marex crypto analysts say in a note.
